Tecler Mapota

Tecler is the other founding partner of the firm. Tecler’s experience in both the public and private sector spans over twenty-eight years. Her career started in the then Attorney-General’s Office, Criminal Division as a Public Prosecutor. She then moved to the Legal Advice division where she gained extensive experience in negotiation and drafting of agreements as a government legal advisor. After leaving the public sector, Tecler worked for an investment bank where she specifically worked with corporate bank and advisory departments. As a legal advisor of in the bank, Tecler developed sharp skills in structuring complex deals and capital raising. She is in charge of the banking & finance department in the firm. Having started her career as a Public prosecutor, Tecler has a keen interest in the development of the criminal justice system and dedicates time to Pro Deo cases assisting litigants unable to afford the legal services they require.
